KTLD-TFP
Our company's electromagnetic flowmeters are manufactured in compliance with the Chinese national standard "JG-1033-2007 Electromagnetic Flowmeters," making them inductive instruments designed to measure the volumetric flow rate of conductive media. While providing real-time on-site monitoring and display, these flowmeters can also output standard current signals for recording, adjustment, and control purposes, enabling automated detection and control—and even facilitating long-distance signal transmission. They are widely applicable across various industries, including water supply, chemical processing, coal mining, environmental protection, light textiles, metallurgy, and paper manufacturing, for accurately measuring the flow rates of conductive liquids.

Overview
Our company’s electromagnetic flowmeters comply with the Chinese national standard **JG-1033-2007, Electromagnetic Flowmeters**, and are inductive instruments designed to measure the volumetric flow rate of conductive media. In addition to providing real-time on-site monitoring and display, these flowmeters can output a standard current signal for recording, adjustment, and control purposes, enabling automated detection and control—and even allowing for long-distance signal transmission. They are widely used in industries such as water supply, chemical processing, coal mining, environmental protection, light textiles, metallurgy, and paper manufacturing, where accurate measurement of conductive liquid flow is essential.
How it works
An electromagnetic flowmeter operates based on Faraday's law of induction, which states that when a conductive object moves through a magnetic field, cutting across the magnetic field lines, an induced electromotive force is generated within the conductor. This induced EMF, E, is given by:
E = KBdV
The flow rate Q is:
Q = 3600 × V × S
Where:
K - Instrument Coefficient
B— Magnetic flux density (T)
D—Electrode spacing (m)
V-First fluid average flow velocity (m/s)
S — Cross-sectional area of the catheter (m²)
When measuring flow, a conductive liquid flows at velocity V through a magnetic field oriented perpendicular to the direction of flow. This motion induces a voltage in the conductive liquid that is directly proportional to the average flow velocity. The induced voltage signal is detected by electrodes that are in direct contact with the liquid. For a given flow meter, since S, B, and d remain constant, the flow rate is directly proportional to the magnitude of the induced electromotive force E (or the flow velocity V).
Product Features
1. The measuring tube contains no moving parts, making maintenance and management easy; and since there are no flow-obstructing components, there is no pressure loss.
2. The minimum conductivity of the liquid to be measured is ≥30 μS/cm, and when paired with various liner materials, it can be used to measure the flow rate of a wide range of media, including acids, bases, salt solutions, as well as slurries, mineral suspensions, and pulp.
3. The measurement of flow is unaffected by changes in the fluid’s density, viscosity, temperature, pressure, or electrical conductivity; instead, the sensor detects a voltage signal.
4. Exhibits a linear relationship with the average flow velocity and offers high measurement accuracy.
5. Proper selection of lining and electrode materials can ensure excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
6. Low-frequency rectangular wave excitation ensures stable and reliable operation, free from interference caused by power frequency and various stray noises present on-site.
7. Independent of fluid direction, it can accurately measure flow in both forward and reverse directions.
8. Measurement range ratio of 1:30 (0.5 m/s – 15 m/s), offering a wide full-scale flow velocity range.
9. Chinese character LCD backlit display with online parameter modification, offering simple and convenient operation. 10. Equipped with empty pipe detection and alarm functionality, and capable of adapting to various fluid media.
