Overview
LUGB series vortex flowmeter is a kind of flow meter which uses piezoelectric crystal as detection element and outputs standard signal proportional to flow. The instrument can be directly matched with the instrument, and can also be used with computers and distributed systems to measure the flow parameters of different media. According to the detection principle of fluid vortex street, the piezoelectric crystal for detecting vortex street is not in contact with the medium. The instrument has the characteristics of simple structure, good versatility and high stability.
LUGB series vortex flowmeter can be used for all kinds of gas, liquid and steam flow detection and measurement. LUGB series vortex flowmeter can be used with the intelligent flow totalizator produced by our company, and can also be used with other intelligent instruments produced by instrument manufacturers, with the characteristics of strong versatility.
Working principle
The basic principle of vortex flowmeter is the Karman vortex principle, that is, "vortex vortex separation frequency is proportional to the flow rate". The diameter of the flow body of the flowmeter is basically the same as the nominal diameter of the instrument. As shown in Figure 1, an approximately isosceles triangular cylinder is inserted into the flow body, the axis of the cylinder is perpendicular to the flow direction of the measured medium, and the bottom surface faces the fluid.

It is a constant that depends on the cross-sectional shape of the cylinder and is basically independent of the nature of the fluid and the size of the flow rate.
Product features and uses
1. The sensor measuring probe adopts special process package, the regular temperature resistance is 250 ℃, and the high temperature type can reach 350 ℃;
2. The sensitive element is sealed in the probe body, the detection element does not contact the measurement medium, and the service life is long;
3. The sensor adopts compensation design to improve the shock resistance of the instrument;
4. Simple structure, no moving parts, high durability;
5. Within the specified Reynolds number range, the measurement is not affected by the temperature, pressure and viscosity of the medium;
6. The flowmeter can be used in explosion-proof occasions with good safety;
7. Wide range ratio, up to 10:1;
8. Strong versatility, can measure unclean gas and liquid;
This instrument can be widely used in large, medium and small all kinds of pipeline water supply and drainage, industrial circulation, sewage treatment, oil and chemical reagents and compressed air, saturated and superheated steam, natural gas and various media flow measurement.
